Growing up in Argentina, Eliana mostly knew the tango and jazz crooners favored by her mom until she first heard Zeppelin and the Stones. Next, traveling the world as a fashion model in her late teens and early twenties enabled her to broaden her listening as she hit the clubs everywhere from Tokyo to London. Resettled in Chicago, and working at the Pump Room, she wanted to DJ but didn’t have the courage until an encounter with no less than British legend Paul Oakenfold inspired her to take to the decks. At Adorn, Eliana still spins her beloved Brit bands, but the chill vibe and sophistication of the audience enables her to mix genres and move seamlessly from funk to Tropical House to classic Marvin Gaye. Argentina is in her blood and spirit, so she loves to blend in Latin sounds and contemporary tango like Bajo Fondo.
