A music fan from his early years, Diasfunk began collecting vinyl singles when he was ten years old. And that’s still his preferred format, regularly spinning 45s from his vast collection. Fascinated by how cuts, samples, and loops can create a  musical  “conversation”  between the DJ and audience, he cites Quest Love as a major influence for his ability to leap seamlessly from genre to genre. Finding the room at Adorn upscale but accessible, he goes deep into his vault for disco and soul but always pays homage to Chicago with early house.
