House.  Soul.  R&B.Funk.  If it’s happening,  it’s happening in  Chicago.  So,  Kevin seeks to honor and channel that history while making his own statement on the city’s pioneering dance culture. He doesn’t want to just explore the past,  he wants to fuse new and old so it’s recontextualized,  cohesive,  and fresh,  mixing influences from Chicago,  Detroit,  New  York,  Paris and World sounds.  At  Adorn,  he selects tracks that reflect the room’s refinement and its sense of adventure. As a Chicago native who’s always trying to give back to the scene, he can also be heard championing new labels and artists on his monthly radio show, Sunday Record Club, on 105.5FM Lumpen Radio.
